Why safety is everyone's job

Most workplace injuries are not caused by rare, dramatic events. They come from everyday tasks done in a hurry, with the wrong tool, or without checking the conditions first.

Safety works when every person on a job takes ownership of it. Supervisors plan the work safely, and workers follow procedures and speak up when something is wrong.
